I Simulated a Beggar’s Struggle to Survive on Livestream, and Went Viral Worldwide

"If you become a beggar with nothing to your name, how many days can you hold out?"

After transmigrating, Chu Chen becomes a contestant on a survival show in a parallel world. Along with the other contestants, he enters a game where they must play beggars.

They start with no money, and their surroundings are entirely virtual.

In the game world, the contestants are having an exceptionally rough time.

Unable to find work because of their status as beggars, they have no income and struggle to afford food, clothing, shelter, and transportation.

To survive, some beg along the streets, enduring cold stares and abuse.

Others don't mind the filth and stench, turning over every trash can in the city, big and small.

Some perform on the streets, singing, dancing, and playing instruments for the sake of a single copper coin from passersby.

As viewers watch the contestants' miserable lives on the livestream for their own amusement, they discover that Contestant No. 66, Chu Chen, not only has plenty to eat and drink, but lives in a three-bedroom apartment and has even started driving a sports car!
