Hou Zu's soul transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West, where he unexpectedly activated the Ultimate Conquest System. Win a fight, get a reward.
In his very first fight, Hou Zu used the Heaven and Earth Manifestation from the starter gift pack provided by the System to beat back a pack of invading wolf demons. The monkeys of Flower-Fruit Mountain then made him their Monkey King.
From then on, he was busier than ever.
He dueled Taoist priests, sparred with great demons, fought divine generals, and traded blows with the Buddhas.
Before long, his name had all three realms trembling in fear. With no other choice, the Heavenly Emperor released the demon sealed within the Ruins of Return. Only then did the great battle truly begin.
