Losing Money Making Games, Yet Getting Feted by Players Worldwide

Lin Fan transmigrated to a world where video games were scarce.

From the start, he activated a money-losing System: for every yuan he lost, the System rewarded him with ten.

After taking over a dilapidated game company, he created I Wanna, a pricey little game with cheap visuals, no logic, and a habit of trolling its players.

Lin Fan was delighted. He thought players would despise it and leave bad reviews, but an unexpected livestream by Dai Xiaomei, which made her cry with frustration, sent the game viral across the internet.

Players around the world: "Game studios know jack about I Wanna. This game is all about skill!"

Lin Fan: "This is ridiculous! So I can't torment players? Then make me a AAA game at any cost. Lose money, lose as much as you possibly can!"

Then came Death Stranding, a hugely overpriced game about delivering packages, and Cyberpunk, riddled with bugs.

Players around the world: "I heard the studio spared no expense making this game. That kind of dedication is admirable. Who cares about bugs? Buy it, buy as much as you can!"

By the time everyone realized what was happening, Lin Fan had reached the top of the Forbes rich list!

Competitor: "Mr. Lin's plans are truly unfathomable. He's a master at playing the pig to eat the tiger."
