Empress: I Am a Righteous Minister, Not Someone to Be Doted On

I am Su Ningxi, the female emperor of the Dayu Dynasty.

With the realm in turmoil and the land in ruins, just as the court is facing a crisis, a strange voice suddenly sounds in my mind.

What?!

If I dote on a certain fated subject, I can receive all kinds of rewards.

I am Lu Yu. After eighteen years in the dynasty, I have finally become a low-ranking official, and awakened the Upright Official System. As long as I fulfill the daily duties of an upright official, I can complete my trials and ascend to the Immortal Realm.

Who knew the dynasty would be on the verge of ruin from the start?

Before the empress was forced to take her own life, she inexplicably bestowed three thousand taels of silver on me.

Not long after,

she bestowed another three thousand Imperial Guards on me.

In less than half a day, she granted me free access to stay overnight in the palace and even appointed me prime minister.

She also went all out to arrange my marriage.

Damn it, I am an upright official with unyielding principles, not a pampered court favorite who brings ruin to the country.

Countless years later, the ministers wept bitterly as they remonstrated unto death. "Your Majesty, your favorite is ruining the country!"

The empress gave a quiet sigh. "Other than myself, I truly don't know what else I can reward him with. What should I do?"
