Journey to the West: I Hope the Demons Are All Right

The hilarious, parody version of Journey to the West for 2021. Even the monsters say it's great.

He transmigrates into Journey to the West and becomes an unremarkable, mild-mannered monk with a six-pack and a powerful crooked-mouth grin!

Unlike the original story, everyone on the pilgrimage knows the script.

And with the formation of the Westbound Travel Group,

Journey to the West gradually starts taking a bizarre turn.

Sun Wukong: "Are you sure you're a monk, and not a nuclear monk?"

White Bone Spirit: "All that stuff about helping me cultivate, and letting me go if I mess up your butt, was just a trick to fool monsters! Boohoo..."

Black Bear Spirit: "Why did you one-shot me when I was wearing the only +16 legendary gold-quality kasaya on the whole server? That's impossible!!"

Tathagata Buddha: "Oh no! This is the style of a true powerhouse!!!"

Tang Sanzang: "I've spent my whole life fetching scriptures. Can't I enjoy myself for once? Keep the music playing, keep dancing!"
