National Fate: Guarding the Nation's Gates, I Swear Never to Retreat

Jiang Yun's soul transmigrates to another world, where he becomes a man in his eighties.

Just then, dark creatures invade, and he is randomly selected to guard the Dragon Nation's borders.

When everyone sees that the Dragon Nation's guardian is an old man in his eighties, they fall into despair.

The other nations, meanwhile, are positively gloating.

Giant Elephant Nation: Hahaha! Once the dark creatures invade the Dragon Nation, its national strength is bound to suffer. My Giant Elephant Nation will surpass it!

Beautiful Nation: What a relief! Seeing that the Dragon Nation's guardian is an old man puts my mind at ease. I won't have to worry about them surpassing us anymore!

Sakura Nation: Our guardian is Satomi Ishihara, but even an old man would be better than this! Looks like there's no need to fight over Diaoyu Island anymore...

When nobody has any faith in the Dragon Nation, no one expects Jiang Yun's true identity to be a successor of the Daoist tradition!

And Daoist magic and supernatural arts are the perfect counter to these dark creatures.

Jiang Yun not only holds the border, but also wins countless rewards for the Dragon Nation, helping it evolve into the world's only mythical nation!
