When My Pager Beeps, I Get a Text from My Future Self

In 2000, as the Chinese economy took off, Li Feng's pager received a text message from his future self.

And so, everything began to change.

"You idiot, it's me! You have to find a way to buy shares in Changshan Technology. The more, the better."

Li Feng went all in, putting every last cent he had into the stock. Changshan Machinery then hit the daily limit for ten days in a row.

"You adorable idiot, I have to warn you. A game called Legend is about to become a huge hit. Hurry and buy the rights!"

Li Feng went all in again, setting up a game company. Legend became a sensation across China.

"You handsome, badass version of me, listen up! There are two companies owned by men surnamed Ma, and they're short on cash right now! Go on! Buy up their shares like crazy!"

Li Feng went all in once more, buying shares in both Ma-owned companies. Then he woke up one morning and found he had become the most successful investor of all time.

"Mr. Li, could you tell us how you managed to achieve a 100% success rate with your investments?"
