About This Novel
Dalai is a dog that has been with our family for more than ten years. Although it has been dead for decades, I still clearly remember the days we spent with it. Dahei is dead. Dahei's mother is called Dahei. She gave birth to five puppies in a litter. Hei Buliuqiu is like five rubber balls. Since the birth of these five babies, the three of us, brother and sister, have been staying by the kennel all day long. We even ate three meals a day while sitting at the door of the kennel with bowls in hand. Based on the characteristics and habits of these little things, we named them respectively - Preserved Dan, Maomao, Rourou, Dalai, and Xiaoguai. When the puppies were out of the moon, the uncle came to the house and took the little boy away. Dahei howled in the den for several days, his voice very sad. When its howling became quieter, the second godmother in the village exchanged two liters of soft rice for the meat, and the third godmother exchanged a hat of shell eggs for the preserved eggs.
