Summer of Fireflies
About This Novel
The close-knit Quinn siblings get together every summer at their country house. Their cheerful figures remained there, until that summer when the sky was full of fireflies, tragedy happened - they lost their seven-year-old brother... The four sisters all blamed themselves for the death of their brother, and they spent their long lives with guilt and sadness. Decades later, as their bodies grew weaker and each shouldered the burdens of their families and cared for their aging parents, they supported each other and rarely mentioned the scars of their childhoods. Until one evening, when they were sitting on the top of a mountain watching the sunset, fireflies lingered around them, and the regret, guilt, and secrets of that summer burst out...
