About This Novel
This is an emotional novel divided into two parts. The protagonist "I" in the first part is a writer. Because of his emotional frustration, he felt the emptiness of life, so he decided to move away from his old place. He moved to a quiet place near the suburbs of the city. He wanted to regain his confidence in life and writing here, but he was always troubled by his memory. Once he accidentally picked up a photo of a beautiful woman in the park, and he found that the address on the photo was near his home. He found this woman according to the diagram, but got involved in a dispute, and his life became turbulent again. At the same time, his ex-girlfriend and some things and people he did not expect also appeared, bringing him unexpected distress and fluctuations. The second part is the story written by "I", the writer of the first part. The protagonist Wu Yuan has a relationship problem with his girlfriend. He was struggling to find a solution and finally made a decision: go traveling. He will meet many people and experience many things on the road: a person who walks into the wilderness and tries to isolate himself from the world; a person who changes his identity and hopes to start over, but embarks on a journey to find an old friend twenty years later; a mother and her son looking for her husband; a man who is obsessed with collecting cigarette boxes and sets out to find his wife who ran away with others; a director who sells his feelings in order to make a movie; a painful woman whose boyfriend falls in love with her best friend, a passionate music festival, journeys, and painting theft incidents...
