About This Novel
As close as sisters for twenty years, Sarah and Lauren experienced high school and college together, their first job, their first love, the uncertainty of their twenties and the reality of their thirties. Sarah is the only daughter of a well-known family. She works in a charity organization and is planning for her wedding. Lauren is beautiful, stubborn, maverick, single, and works in a publishing house. She shares her parents' anxieties and questions her future and life, but she also tries hard not to think about these problems. At this time, the two of them have different pursuits and mentality internally, and different environments and lives externally. Even if they were close in the past because of their complementary personalities, under such real circumstances, it is difficult for both parties to empathize with each other's experiences, and emotional alienation seems inevitable.
