Two seriously injured patients were taken to the Sognska Hospital in Yotburg by helicopter. One was Salander who was shot in the head, and the other was Zarachenko who was severely injured by Salander with an axe. Salander's life was temporarily safe after the operation, but she was still trapped in bed unable to move and was closely monitored by the police.
