About This Novel
In my impression, the snow that winter was particularly heavy, and it came one after another. That afternoon too, it started raining non-stop since noon. All shuttle buses to and from the county and countryside have stopped. There were no pedestrians on the road. There is snow everywhere. I was in the duty room at the station, helping my father on duty. It had been several days and there was nothing going on at the station. My father went to the countryside to find someone to drink and play cards with, so he asked me to help him stay in the duty room, fearing that there would be some unexpected calls from the county. The small station consists of two small houses, standing alone on the edge of National Highway No. 15. The sky is full of snow. I feel very bored. I have to take the college entrance examination next year, and I can't understand anything in the textbook. Dahuang (our dog) keeps spinning around my legs. I broke off a piece of steamed bun and threw it under his nose.
