About This Novel

Creation is a process of blending with the outside world with a sincere and clear heart. Thanks to "Beijing Literature" for making my debut novella "Red Coat" available. "Red Coat" changed hands three times, and its style and color changed several times, reflecting the ups and downs of the fate of the owners of the coat and the changes of the times. I used the red coat as a clue and the changes of the times as the background to draw a sketch of human nature, especially the courage and never giving up on the ideal of the two generations of "grandpa" and "mother". 80 Years ago, "Grandpa", a rich man from Northeast China, had an ideal that was not accepted by his family: when his daughters grew up, all of them would be doctors and not rely on men for food. He gave up his land to work in the city and sent his daughters to school. The enslavement of the Japanese and the hunger when Changchun was besieged could not make him give up his ideals.
