About This Novel
On an island with a population of 1,400 people, 18-year-old young man Shinji meets a young girl named Hatsue. The young man has sincere eyes, strong and unrestrained. The girl's eyebrows are calm and bold. In summer, dreams are long, in autumn, days are short, and the two fell in love. But rumors spread throughout the village like the wind, and with the waves, it seemed that spring was coming to an end. Perhaps, everyone has a first love. We are all filled with innocence and enthusiasm for our first love. Like all good things, we have to make them happen.

It's quite pure and the plot is simple. Very natural and healthy love

Nowadays, the reading club can't help but lead into bloody plots, and I am always worried about what bad things will happen to Shinji and Hatsue next. Fortunately, they are all beautiful. Mishima Yukio's writing about the sea and scenery is amazing. It can be regarded as a required reading in middle school.
The writing is beautiful, the story is told eloquently, and it is very interesting.
