About This Novel

In the evening, it rained heavily. A series of shrill lightning flashes tore through the night sky, and the muffled thunder rumbled endlessly. A wild temple in a deserted suburb is crumbling in the wind and rain. With a thunderbolt exploding in the air, a ghostly black figure flashed into the ruined temple door. The figure entered the temple and walked slowly towards the center of the temple. Under the illumination of the remaining candles in the temple, I saw this man wearing a black cloak and a thick mask on his head, only revealing a pair of shining eyes, which looked very strange. Fine raindrops dripped onto the ground along the corners of his cloak, tracing clear water marks following his footsteps. The mysterious man came to an altar table in the temple. There were three incense burners on the table. Each burner was engraved with two golden Bagua patterns, each facing the other two burners.
