About This Novel
The story of Swallow Li San is widely circulated throughout the country, but it mostly appears as a godly thief. The Yanzi Li San described in this book is a chivalrous and righteous man, a folk hero who neither steals nor steals but only fights against injustice. In 1985, Liu Xi, a famous writer in Tianjin, interviewed Li Fen's descendants when writing "The Legend of Swallow Li San", but most of the plots were based on the prototypes of Swallow Li Si and Li Yunlong from Xianxian County, Hebei Province. Since the first "Swallow Li San" mainly focuses on Li San's stealing and stealing, as well as killing the rich and giving to the poor, people have the impression that Li San is a grand thief. This book completely subverts the original work and writes about another hero, Yanzi Li San. This Li San once participated in the Boxer Rebellion and was the leader of the Northeast Black Eagle Gang. Raising grain and planting land for the people in the three northeastern provinces to survive the famine. He also once rescued a prince from the Qing Dynasty and was recognized as an adopted son by the Empress Dowager Cixi. The turbulent era and bizarre encounters triggered a series of plots that were either hilarious or embarrassing, and soul-stirring. This is "The Story of Swallow Li San".
