On August 15, 1945, the Japanese Emperor announced his unconditional surrender. One day more than a month later, a group of Japanese soldiers who had not been completely disarmed began an inhuman massacre of Sanjiazitun and the Shendi house across the river. In this massacre, Wu Tianci and Shitou, villagers of Sanjiazitun, survived by chance. The two vowed to avenge their dead grandfather, sister and fellow villagers. They tracked all the way, Matsuura and Miki wanted to escape, Wang Dachuan killed Miki, and then handed Matsuura to Qingzi's care. Wang Dachuan thought that Lei Bao had also been burned to death, so he followed the Japs along the road and finally found a scientific research building used by the Japanese army in the dense forest. During the exchange of fire with the Japs, he fell into the hands of the enemy in order to rescue Wu Tianci who was surrounded by the Japanese army. He was finally killed by Hasegawa. Hasegawa and the remaining Japs also died at the hands of Wu Tianci and Shitou.
