As the legend goes, Sir Charles died in a marsh not far from London. But all this is due to a huge conspiracy. Holmes finally saw through the murderer Stapleton's plot. With the cooperation of Watson and the police detectives, he killed the terrible hound. Stapleton was also buried in the swamp when he fled in a hurry late at night.
