The protagonist is a pure and good person, but has no ability, and cares about everything. He relies on the smoker for everything, and he still defends himself to death. If he really wants to take revenge, he just makes a deal with the smoker, and just gives him his body after revenge. The protagonist is purely sick, and I doubt the author's mental state. Moreover, the characters in the book are all idiots, and so is the IQ of the protagonist.
