Return of the Sword
About This Novel
This book takes the Ming Dynasty Tumu Fortress as the background, and shows the theme of patriotism and protecting the people through the conflicts between the Zhu Ming Dynasty and Zhang Shicheng's descendants, the struggle between traitors and loyal ministers in the court, and the ethnic conflicts between the Central Plains and Mongolia. The novel carefully creates a vivid image of Zhang Danfeng, a hero who puts the interests of the country and the nation first, does not care about feuding, is willing to abandon glory and wealth, travels between the Northern and Central Plains, and repeatedly performs extraordinary feats. It is interspersed with the twists and turns of Zhang Danfeng's love affair with the heroine Yun Lei, a descendant of his enemy, which is organically intertwined with the fate of his family and country. It is profound, subtle, sad and moving, expressing the author's creative idea of "smiling all the time and settling all the grudges", and interweaves it into a heroic, romantic and beautiful legend.
