This collection of biographies records the life stories of influential female figures in the Qi Dynasty. It spans nearly a hundred years from the five reigns of Tiankang, Zhangye, He'an, Chengzhang, and Taiping Qisheng. It is divided into six parts: Palace, Wancheng, Wenwu, Qiyuan, Market, and Jianghu (based on the protagonist's own positioning of each chapter). Their stories include glory, blood and tears, career, love, obsessions that cannot be let go, determination to break up when necessary, courage to chase dreams, and sadness caused by incompleteness. These women are related to each other, whether they are mother and daughter, or sisters, or close friends, or old enemies, and together they have weaved the most colorful and beautiful chapter in the history of Daqi that cannot be ignored. This work is a collection of short stories, but each chapter is inextricably linked. Characters will appear at different ages and identities in different stories.
