This book expresses a daughter's memory and love for her father. The sudden death of her father on Christmas Eve brought endless regret and nostalgia to her daughter. The first chapter recalled the process from when her daughter received the notice that her father was seriously ill to when she returned to China to handle the funeral arrangements. The second chapter is about the daughter's memories of her father's life and the bits and pieces of the two's shared experiences. Although it is not colorful, it shows the deep father's love in the ordinary. The last chapter is the daughter's impression of some of her father's living habits and expressions of love, those small tacit understandings that need no words to express, and the deep family affection behind these tacit understandings.
