The book is pretty good
What makes me want to continue reading is that the whole theme is dark, as if the whole world is targeting the protagonist. Are all the wealthy families so idle? Including my experiences along the way, there are always people who jump out and are very abrupt and uncomfortable.

I really like this book, but the results are dismal and I wonder how long the author can last.

The first part of the novel was unreadable, not because of the author's writing style. The protagonist's character gave people a sense of cowardice, lack of opinions and inconsistencies, and was incompatible with the environment. In that environment, no one was kind, at least not bad. If the protagonist did not integrate the memory of his predecessor, the character of the protagonist would be fine. Alas, the author probably did not design the protagonist's character well at the beginning.
