The Starry Sky Collapses, I Rely on Simulators to Reconstruct the Future
About This Novel
In the distant future, human civilization has declined due to a catastrophe called the "Information Entropy Disaster." The survivors huddled in isolated cities called "Data Arks," forgetting most of history and technology. The protagonist Lingle, an optimistic tester of the "Ancient Civilization Game", accidentally activated a "causal law deduction simulator" from the old world. At first, he just wanted to use the simulator to predict material refresh points, avoid punishment from his boss, and live a comfortable life of fishing. However, the powerful deduction capabilities of the simulator allowed him to inadvertently glimpse the conspiracy planned by the Ark managers to consolidate their rule, as well as the greater crisis lurking outside the Ark. In order to survive and protect the people around him, Lingle was forced to grow from a "funny guy who just wanted to lie down" to a strategizing game player. He used simulators to deduce technology, analyze people's hearts, and rehearse wars. He united with a tough female botanist, a cold-hearted Ark Sheriff, and a mysterious girl whose identity is a mystery. Step by step, he started fighting for survival resources, then established new forces, and finally uncovered the truth about the "information entropy disaster" and embarked on a path across time and space to find the "optimal solution" to save the entire civilization. The highlight is that the protagonist uses the "simulator", a sci-fi golden finger, to turn every choice into a precise calculation in a desperate future world, staging an epic counterattack from a low-level villain to a civilized chess player.
