This book contains Kafka's four travel diaries: the part in North Bohemia from January to February 1911 and the part in Vienna in September 1913 were written alone. From August to September 1911 and June to July 1912, Kafka and his close friend Brod agreed to travel together and write diaries on the same theme. Therefore, this book not only contains Kafka's diaries of these two trips, but the appendix also contains parallel diaries of Brod and Kafka. The two writers described the natural and cultural landscapes they saw during their travels from different angles, as well as their respective views and feelings. Their works highlighted each other, confirmed each other, complemented each other, and complemented each other. They are unique yet thought-provoking. Looking at it today, this book not only reflects the artistic taste and unique insights of the great writer, but also has a very valuable reference value for studying the customs and customs of various parts of Europe in the early 20th century.
