About This Novel
This article is narrated from the first-person perspective of me (a reporter from the "Public Sentiment Survey" magazine), telling the story of a farmer who met and became friends during an interview and realized his dream of moving to the city safely. When he was 40 years old, he wanted to go to the big city of Xijing to make a living and wanted to buy a house in the city. He successively worked in transportation, riding a tricycle, selling vegetables at the community farmer's market, selling steel and carbon coal, doing charcoal business, selling kebabs, and doing coal business.
