King Arthur (volume 2): the Rebel of God
About This Novel
"What I want to write is the story of my lord Arthur, a long time ago in this land called Britain. He is the god of war, the uncrowned king, and the enemy of God. Most of you have heard of his name, but you have never shed tears for him like I do..." This is his story - our dear leader, our ruler, our Arthur. He did not believe that the cauldron that the great Merlin sought could return Britain to the world - a magical treasure that had been lost for centuries, a magical gift from the old gods. He summoned loyal warriors and skilled warriors, led them to fight against the Saxons, and determined to take back the territory given by the gods with his own hands. If Arthur had any true faith, it was his belief in the divine right of kings. His oath was to place Mordred on the throne, and the man who swore allegiance to Arthur would also swear allegiance to that oath until the future official coronation of the recalcitrant heir. He did not need to seek the blessing of the gods, nor did he have any ambition to usurp the throne. All he originally wanted was peace, nothing more.
