About This Novel
This book is a novel by Ma Dawan, a young writer who has returned from overseas. The story takes place in Blackpool, a suburb in west London, England. Mingbi, a weak and lazy Chinese novelist, ended his short marriage at the age of 30 and indirectly met Mei Yiyi, a 24-year-old Chinese girl. Mei Yiyi is full of Eastern innocent charm and Western ideas. Mingbi falls in love with her at first sight and becomes passionately obsessed with her. However, Mei went her own way and had an affair with the British gentleman Harvey, until Mingbi got angry and gave Harvey a heavy blow.
