About This Novel
Sarawak during World War II was an area occupied by the Japanese army, where complex forces such as the British Army 136 Unit, the Chinese Red Anti-Japanese Guerillas, and the indigenous headhunting Iban tribe were active. Zhou Tianhua, a Chinese Canadian, originally wanted to participate in the war against Germany but was incorporated into the British army due to accidental factors and participated in the war against Japan in Southeast Asia.
