About This Novel
This is a picture of the migration of the Wang family under the influence of Feng Shui culture. The Wang family, who moved from Qianshan County, Anqing Prefecture to Jiangshan County, Quzhou Prefecture, unexpectedly failed in their tomb robbing plan under the guidance of a Feng Shui master. They were forced to flee Jiangshan with their in-laws, the Xu family, and moved to Jiande County, Yanzhou Prefecture. Two Feng Shui masters, Yan and Xie, traveled three hundred miles to Jiande to claim their reward. From then on, the Yan family and the Wang family, the Xie family, lived in Wangjiawu, Jiande, and began a century-old feud. Wang's grandfather had good Feng Shui and dug a vat of gold and silver when expanding his new house. This brought about wealth and glory in the next thirty years, as well as disaster after the founding of the People's Republic of China. Behind the family's ups and downs, each has its own wonderful cultural elements, turning this southern cultural novel into a beautiful classic of China's centuries-old folk customs and historical changes.
