About This Novel
A company of a certain regiment of the 60th Army of the Kuomintang stationed in the Huibu area in northern Jiangxi, led by company commander Lu Yunxuan, deputy company commander Yang Shangwu and others, was ordered to station the entire company on an unnamed high ground and ambush a transport convoy responsible for the Japanese supply of the main force on the main battlefield in Huibu. Unexpectedly, the intelligence was wrong. The Japanese soldiers escorting the convoy consisted of an infantry brigade with nearly a thousand people. They were equipped with heavy weapons such as medium tanks and infantry guns, and the commander was Colonel Hijiro Fujiwara, who was of Japanese aristocratic descent. In order to complete the military order, Lu Yunxuan and others, who were unable to get off the tiger, had to bite the bullet and launch an attack on the Japanese army.
