About This Novel

This book describes the chaotic times before the Anti-Japanese War in which warlords fought in the plains of western Sichuan, the opium smoke was rampant, and people's hearts and humanity declined on a large scale. In the ministry, Leng Jun observed and reflected on the disaster-ridden war for national salvation more than 70 years ago, profoundly revealing the truth that "national disaster is the fate of all individuals in the nation, and national mourning is the spiritual sorrow of all individuals in the nation." He conducted useful explorations on the major themes of war and people, war and nation, war and the salvation of human hearts and humanity.

The author lays out too much in the first half. The theme is the War of Resistance in Sichuan, but the length is not very long. In fact, the later content is more touching.
