On the eve of the fall of Wuhan - a list of underground party members aroused the pursuit of underground parties, Japanese spies, underworld and other forces. A tangled hatred between the country and the family leads to two lives misplaced by fate and history. One night in 1918, the infant Chu Yunjie was abducted by Chu Wangting, the president of the Japanese Black Dragon Society, with the intention of training him to become a spy for his own use. Chu Yunjie later became obsessed with an actor named Liu Yun, and his peaceful life was broken. By accident, he embarked on the road of resisting Japan. In 1930, the ten-year-old Qiu Zihao was brought to China from Japan by Chu Wangting. Later, he was designed to enter the Qiu Mansion and became the adopted son of Qiu Guangyi, the eldest brother of the Wuhan gang. He was also sent to the military command by Qiu Guangyi and was soon promoted to the leader of the Hankou District of the Kuomintang military command to help Chu Wangting provide national army intelligence. Liu Yun and Chu Yunjie's fake love came true, and they fought side by side with the underground party that had infiltrated the Kuomintang, killing Japanese soldiers, eliminating traitors, and destroying the Japanese army's plan to attack Wuhan. Chu Wangting's life-long latent plan was shattered, and Liu Yun and Chu Yunjie's love finally came to fruition.
