Cold-blooded Titans (tom Clancy Military Series)
About This Novel
Tom Clancy's masterpiece "Junior" is set against the backdrop of the Vietnam War in the 1970s. It depicts U. S. Navy special agent John Kelly, later CIA agent John Clark, traveling alone across North America and South Vietnam, fighting against transnational drug cartels, and rescuing American prisoners of war detained deep in the jungles of Vietnam. In 1970, after Navy SEAL John Kelly retired, he returned from Vietnam to run offshore demolition operations. When his pregnant wife died in a traffic accident, Kelly suffered a serious physical and mental blow and lived in isolation for a time. Six months later, he met and fell in love with Pamela, a beautiful woman. Unexpectedly, she was involved in drug cartels and pornographic organizations. Kelly tried to investigate a drug gang associated with his girlfriend, but was attacked and seriously injured. His girlfriend was humiliated and killed. Kelly survived the catastrophe and immediately began a personal war to annihilate drug trafficking criminals. At the same time, he joined the CIA as "John Clark" and assumed the mission of rescuing American prisoners of war from the Vietnamese.
