The Letter Writer at the End of the World
by J
About This Novel
A hundred years ago in Iceland, at the end of the world, a young and unknown boy rediscovered the meaning of life amidst constant loss. He went out to fish, but witnessed his friend die in the Arctic sea because of a Milton poem. Art and beauty, the most fascinating things in the world, are the most likely to put people into danger. He helped his friend return the book to its original owner, where he met the freedom that confused him for the first time in his life: a room alone, endless books, and a sultry red-haired girl. He reads and writes letters on behalf of others to express their love and sweetness. When the recipient reads these words, he always feels a little more shy and happy when he thinks of the boy writing these sentences. The boy learned the secret of words, the power of language. Letters bring hope and reverie to people, slowly and irreversibly changing people's imagination of life... Letters and words are the simplest expressions of strong emotions in the past era. We are entangled in love between the lines, so we have history.
