About This Novel

This book is a collection of classical Chinese short stories written in the early Qing Dynasty. Taking the "Liao Zhai Zhi Yi Yong" published by Tongwen Bureau in the 20th year of Guangxu's reign (1894) as the base, the Xuezhai manuscript, the twenty-four volumes of manuscripts, and the "Sanhui edition" were collated. In addition to correcting the text, the chapters were also sorted out. More than 60 chapters, including "Yu Ziyou" and "Yu Ziyou" published by other authors, were not included in the original version of "Picture Yong" and are included as "supplements". Therefore, this book is currently the most complete collection of chapters and a more reasonable arrangement.
