This is the first science fiction novel I have read. The content and ending are very shocking. This book is not a superficial fantasy, but is based on real science. This book not only reflects technology, but also expresses human nature, and makes people think about the future of mankind.
For a physics scumbag, this book is really brain-burning to read. A lot of the physics principles in it are not completely understandable and understandable, but in terms of the structure and plot of the whole book, it is quite excellent, the plot is unexpected, and there are many things worth thinking about. There is a sentence in the article that touched me deeply, "Ignorance and fear are not the most terrifying things, but arrogance is the original sin that destroys a civilization."
After watching the three movies, my mind went blank. This ending really makes me unable to calm down. All I can say is that it was very well written.
The Three-Body Problem Beyond Civilization
"Death is the only beacon that is always on. No matter where you sail, you must eventually turn to the direction it guides. Everything will pass away, and only death will live forever." The universe is like a dark forest. In the forest where the sun never rises, the silent advanced civilizations are hunters with shotguns, quietly watching the arrival of their prey. For them, the civilization of the earth is like a child, holding up a lamp and shouting: "I am here! I am here!" When they truly realize death, they are frightened, and the arrival of death will never stop or slow down. The birth of life is a miracle caused by the precise coordination of various parameters in the universe. Earth's civilization is one of the miracles, and it is also an insignificant one among countless civilizations. It is precisely this civilization that is only three million years old that can face the cruelest truth of the universe with the most painful attitude. The political corruption and moral decay during the Communist era aroused Ye Wenjie's hatred and despair for human nature. This was also the author's criticism of the gloomy society at that time. In 1971, the signal she sent into outer space was successfully intercepted by the Trisolaran civilization, which kicked off the war between the two civilizations. If Ye Wenjie is the fuse of the war, human tyranny is the root cause of the war. Human beings at that time would not have imagined how they would devote themselves to their survival in the future. "Survival is the first need of civilization; civilization continues to grow and expand, but the total amount of matter in the universe remains unchanged." Behind the axioms of cosmic civilization is the darkest truth of the dark forest. In order to find this truth, some people have spent their lives, and some have spent their lives. Luo Ji was not powerful, he just found the truth. In order to stick to the truth, he betrayed his loved ones and dug a grave for himself, allowing future generations to accuse him and even being accused of a crime. Everything seems helpless in the face of time. The same is true for the people on the "Blue Space" outside the solar system, "heroes", "traitors", "saviors"... Different humans at different times have given them different evaluations, but they have been doing one thing from beginning to end: moving forward for the survival of human civilization. Go ahead! Go ahead! ! Advance by any means necessary! ! ! Between morality and ethics and human survival, Zhang Beihai and Wade obviously chose the latter; they saw the direction of history and humanity one step ahead of others. Facing the entire civilization, they have no choice but to move forward. This "forward" will also be the infinite driving force for our technological progress and social development. I am very grateful to Liu for creating such a universe that allows us to see such vastness; I am also very angry that he created such a character and allowed us to experience such grief. I often look up at the stars, and often think: If there really is such a dark forest in the universe, and if there are really these laws of the universe, then what choice will we make? I think time can prove everything, the unknown and the unrealized can be mapped in the future, and science fiction literature only gives a prediction of the turbulent future. However, the person who truly controls destiny is not the prophet, but the decider at the critical moment of destiny. Cheng Xin's appearance was like a god, spreading the glory of humanity to the earth. She chose humanity twice. If she had to do it countless times, she would still choose it because she is the most perfect interpretation of humanity. But she only gave time to civilization, but not time to civilization. Thoughts make people great, and time depicts the magic of the universe. Civilization is an epic, written by predecessors and sung by future generations.
Hmm... I'm just asking casually. It is written in the book that the speed of the Trisolaran fleet can reach one-tenth of the speed of light. The Earth is a little more than four light years away from the Trisolaran planet. Then why does it take four hundred years for the Trisolaran fleet to reach the Earth? I don't know if I read it wrong or my math foundation is not good. Please give me some advice.
A very good epoch-making masterpiece, written very well by Liu
The Three-Body Problem, human nature in science fiction.
It took me three or four days to read it all. Some people say that logic is the most miserable, but I think Cheng Xin is the most miserable. Let me ask, when a person is responsible for the life and death of two civilizations, does he really have the ability to make the decision to destroy two civilizations? Although what Cheng Xin did was wrong, right or wrong is always an afterthought. At the moment, what you think is right is right. The cosmology in the book is that conscience is always something that makes people vulnerable, and love is worthless in the universe. I pity logic. As a Wallfacer, he is not a qualified Wallfacer, and as a husband or lover, he is not a qualified husband either. As a great man who saves the world, he has been doing nothing until he is forced to do nothing. I pity logic. The most important thing is that his freedom is restricted by moral ethics. Before the Deterrence Era, they said he was trash. During the Age of Deterrence, he became their god. After the Era of Deterrence, they lived a comfortable life and then blamed him for destroying another civilization they couldn't even see. To give a vulgar example, it's like, when they were hungry, they hated him for not being able to give them food, so he snatched food for them to eat. When they were full and comfortable, they scolded him for being so incompetent and stealing other people's food. This is not science fiction, this is reality. Just like dog meat, in years of famine, when people have nothing to eat, they can only kill chickens and dogs for food. When living standards improve, they start to condemn other people who eat dog meat. I think this kind of people are ridiculous. Very sad too! I can't think of what to say next, so here it goes! Three-body, classic!
I don't like the ending
I don't believe that Yun Tianming will be with another woman. A man who is willing to give a star and the universe to his lover can actually marry and have children with another woman and still live together. It's nonsense!
I feel the speed of light! Not the fastest! It actually has 4 dimensions! What is the speed of light in the eyes of the 4th dimension! It's no different from walking.
The Trisolaran civilization is so powerful that it can survive on three suns. Why must it invade the earth? Wouldn't it be enough to give them a spark?

Eight star recommendation. Total score 51. Completed. Hard science fiction, extreme science fiction fantasy, dark forest theory Single owner has read through. Pin it next time, 516 more likes than dislikes ---------- The Three-Body Problem is undoubtedly a masterpiece. In fact, what it says may not be something that has not been mentioned by predecessors, nor may it be something that modern people have not thought of. But it is undoubtedly the first to describe these in such vivid and detailed way. I originally wanted to find a review from the Internet and post it, but then I decided to write it myself. The excellence of Three-Body Problem, I think, mainly lies in the bravery of this book. Dare to face the real world. In fact, for Liu, this may not be difficult. Everyone with sufficient scientific literacy can think about problems with a relatively rational, even almost cold, non-fluctuating mind. However, not everyone is able or dares to express it. Among the many advantages of the Three-Body Problem, there is one thing that I particularly appreciate: constructing the world with absolute rationality and covering up the illusory emotions that reach directly into the human heart. Reality is the body, and morality, emotion, and desire are the beautiful packaging boxes on the outside. However, no matter how good the box is, it will not change the slightest bit of its wrapping. This is a dangerous thing, and for an author, it's also a complicated thing. Some people's box paper was not strong enough and they were called traitors; some people's writing was too heavy, making the story even reversed and confusing. The three bodies are in that equilibrium zone. I think the greatest ingenuity of Three-Body Problem is that it successfully leads the public to see the truth that they don't want to admit. But maybe it's because Liu is from a science background after all, and is not known for his literary qualities. Strictly speaking, the writing style of Three-Body Problem is not up to standard. It is not impossible to assume that "the excellent English translation has improved the literary level of the English version of Three-Body Problem and helped it win the Hugo Award." ---------- Recommended similar high-quality novels: It is recommended to watch the introduction of "Voyage on the Fantasy Sea" by the up owner of Station B. Recommended web article: Under Deep Space (a pure-blooded web novel first launched by Qidian, but won the Galaxy Award, the highest honor in Chinese science fiction) ---------- Individual scores are usually 1-9 points. Influenced by (Shadow of the Moon), Dafeng read several science fiction novels. This book (Three Body Problems) has already been published, so I have to order all of it. I don't know if it's because the writer understands science that it's scary or if it's because scientists write novels that are too scary. In short, this book (The Three-Body Problem) is clearly telling the story of scientists, but it's so creepy to read! (Supernatural thrillers are much inferior) In terms of storytelling alone, The Shadow of the Moon is better readable, while The Three-Body Problem is a bit too depressing and more of a torture of the human heart.

My favorite science fiction novel, bar none. The owner Shan specially bought the entire set of books and bought the electronic version on Kindle. It is great. It is indeed the pinnacle of Chinese science fiction novels. An atom locks the earth's technology, the law of the dark forest, the water droplets surrounding two thousand earth fleets, the two-way foil, the dimensionality reduction strike... The whole book is a feast for science fiction fans. ╰(❁´⌣`❁)╯♡

My favorite science fiction work is suitable for reading over and over again. It has a grand background, an unprecedented scale, and almost reaches the extreme in its description of human nature. It is the pinnacle of Chinese science fiction. It is not suitable for novices and minors. It is recommended that you have life experience and deep thinking.
