About This Novel
The drama "Qingming" is another masterpiece by famous playwrights Yao Baoxuan and Wei Zhong in our province after "The Beginning of Autumn". The drama "The Beginning of Autumn" focuses on interpreting the image of integrity of Shanxi merchants during the great historical changes. The plot is magnificent and exciting. With fascinating stories and vivid language, it has successfully shaped the artistic image of three generations of Shanxi merchants. Since its premiere on April 27, 2004, a total of 660 performances have been performed in 9 years. It is one of the important gains in cultural construction during the "11th Five-Year Plan" period of Shanxi Province. The fifth issue of this magazine in 2005 released the unperformed version of "The Beginning of Autumn", which aroused strong responses among readers. The "Qingming" published in this issue is still an unperformed version of the play.
