The main plot of "As You Like It" describes the exiled Duke's daughter Rosalind who goes to the forest to find her father and her love story. The title of the play "As You Like It" indicates that all the good people who were persecuted in the play are rewarded, the evil people are inspired, and the lovers get married. This reflects Shakespeare's ideal state of good overcoming evil.
