About This Novel
Buddhist Village, all with the surname of Buddha, is located on a slope in the Weibei Plain, and is not eye-catching at all. To be more eye-catching, it is the slope land that supports hundreds of Buddhist households. This slope is higher in the west and lower in the east, and is about a hundred acres in size. It has a ferocious-looking ravine, winding like a snake, and is at least tens of meters deep. There are weeds all over the field, and rabbits are scurrying and crows are howling. In the center of the ground is a platform paved with bluestone strips nine meters long, six meters wide and forty-five centimeters high. In the middle of the platform, four thick, one-meter-six-meter-high green locust wood stakes are deeply embedded in the gaps in the stone. This was the execution ground during the Qing Dynasty, and was known among the people as the place of death. Countless soul-destroying ghosts who deserved and did not deserve their crimes were killed with a knife and reincarnated into another society. This ravine also had a very martial name - Jueqing Valley.
