About This Novel

In the forest of modern long-length novels, "Zha Cui Bian" (also known as "Huan Hai Zhong") has not achieved a prominent position, but it can still be regarded as a shining masterpiece. The author, Dansou, is Qian Xibao, courtesy name Shuchu, and was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He lived in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, and his deeds are unknown. In the "Preface" written by the poet Bing Chensui (1916) of Chanqi, there are words such as "The old man was born in a state of poverty, and he went to serve as a minister. He wore embroidered silk in the morning, and smoked the coop at night."
