About This Novel
The work is 57 letters written by a 24-year-old girl to herself while living in an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River for half a year after falling out of love. It sincerely records her thoughts on everything in life and the process of self-healing. Layer by layer, one can see the deep loneliness, desire, fear, selfishness, struggle... Until hope and warmth of human nature. Taking the creation of more than a dozen ancient poems and the changes of seasons as clues, it shows her process of self-healing and self-growth. It is mediated by simple ink illustrations with some modern elements.
