About This Novel
The manuscript describes the marriage and love stories of university intellectuals and the emotional experiences of intellectual women, which are the themes that A Yuan is most comfortable with. The story mainly tells the story of Japanese student Kana Kana who went to the wrong classroom and accidentally met Ji Yao, a teacher in the Chinese Department. This transnational pair of teachers and students will gradually get to know each other through various circumstances, become lovers, and eventually get married. In addition to the two protagonists, the novel also depicts a group of university characters with distinctive personalities such as the foreign student Isabella, Chinese professors Lao Shang, Xu Wuyong, and He Gu. Through them, they describe the current living conditions of intellectuals in universities and fully demonstrate the current reality of university life.
