About This Novel

The story took place in the 1920s of the Republic of China. It tells the story of a ghost thief appearing in a small town called Zhuge Town. The new police chief, Ma Niu, wanted to solve the case and catch the thief, but was framed by others and almost lost his life. Later, he pretended to be stupid after being injured, and he and his three childhood friends battled wits and courage with the thieves, and finally captured the real thief and embarked on the road to revolution.
