Parents should try to discuss issues with their children from their perspective, instead of just asking their children to do what is right. Even machines don't obey orders 100% of the time. Even if everything parents do is right, in many cases their actions will only make their children more disappointed in their parents. The so-called adolescent rebellion is just a manifestation of children growing up. They begin to have their own sense of dominance and different opinions on things, but parents are used to controlling their children, so who is rebelling? When our parents taught us to walk, they hoped that we could walk more steadily and further without the protection of our parents.
