This book is divided into two parts, with a total of six chapters. The first part deeply explores the ancient spiritual ecosystem of Guizhou minority literature from the aspects of academic foundation, mythology and folk poetry; the second part comprehensively analyzes the ecological spiritual system of Guizhou minority literature that has been inherited to this day and remains active from aspects such as bamboo culture, bronze drum culture, Wu Nuo taboo culture, and Lusheng marriage and love culture. With the help of the theoretical framework of ecocriticism, this book excavates and organizes the folk literature materials of the main ethnic minorities who have lived in Guizhou for a long time, and provides a new interpretation of the ecological value contained in them. At the same time, it breaks through the traditional one-dimensional research model, allowing theory and phenomenon, subject and object to penetrate, corroborate and interact with each other. This is exactly in line with the principles of integrity and interactivity advocated by ecocriticism, and also opens up a research perspective for ecocriticism to use folk wisdom to intervene in academic theory.
