At the end of the regular meeting on Monday, I called Bonnie, the head of the company's human resources department. "Bonnie, take a moment of your time." I said as I walked over to her. "Oh, Ted, what's the matter?" She looked up, a professional smile on her face. After all, we don't know each other very well, and she just arrived at the company not long ago. "It's no big deal." I stared into her eyes. "Do you remember that a month ago, the data center of Bihu Branch fired two engineers responsible for operation and maintenance?" Bonnie was a little surprised. She probably remembered several disputes we had had before. "You should be aware of this matter. Your signature is on the handling process." Maybe she thought I was trying to accuse me.
