Its value is as Zhang Taiyan said: "After "History" and "Han", the "Book of the Later Han" is the first to be recommended." Chen Yinke also said: "Weizong (characterized by Fan Ye) is called the "Book of the Later Han". It is a great book with a great style and a fine thought. It is believed to be a good history."
