Life of Constantine
About This Novel
This book is an important historical work written by Eusebius. It records the history of Constantine for about 30 years after he ascended the throne. It involves many aspects of the Byzantine Empire, especially Constantine's attitude towards Christianity and his actions. Although most of it is about praising Constantine, as a contemporary author, the value of the book's historical data cannot be ignored.

This book has also received great praise and criticism, and is quite controversial. It is undeniable that the characters in the biographies are indeed great.
Constantine I is known as one of the greatest emperors in world history. He founded the Byzantine Empire and laid the foundation of medieval European civilization.
The ups and downs of this gentleman and the book are surprisingly similar to each other in later generations' evaluations. I have to say that this coincidence is extraordinary. The man in the book is a complicated person.
